The Board of BALT Ltd entirely comprises of industry representatives with a long standing relationship with BALT. The Directors have been selected based on their skills and experience and their demonstrated personal commitment to the purpose of BALT.
Andrew became involved as a Project Champion at ACL Bearing Co. on the very first BALT program in 2010. Since then, Andrew has been instrumental in establishing the BALT Coordinating Team and has been Chair since its inception.
Andrew has extensive experience with governance in the for-purpose sector through his involvement with the Scout Association of Tasmania.
Mark became involved in the Lean Action Learning program as a Project Champion, in his role as Manager Carbon and Business Improvement at Bell Bay Aluminium.
Mark recently joined the BALT Board as a Corporate Member representative, continuing Bell Bay Aluminium’s long-standing support of action learning as a founding member and industry advocate in the North.
Geoff Watson owns and operates a local engineering business in George Town. Geoff is an entrepreneur and innovative thinker with experience in product development and commercialisation.
CPT Engineering completed a highly successful project in partnership with Bell Bay Aluminium in 2011/2012. Since then, Geoff has been a valued member of the BALT Coordinating Team.
