Increasing resource efficiency in Tasmanian businesses will help drive down business costs, support business resilience and better protect the environment.
This seminar will showcase opportunities for diverting organic waste from a range of industries.
This is the final in a series of four seminars to be delivered in Launceston and Burnie, introducing strategies for small to medium Tasmanian businesses to:
- Help reduce their consumption of resources and minimise waste streams;
- Reduce operating costs and drive productivity gains; and
- Provide practical and tailored information regarding ways to improve their resource efficiency
Presented in partnership with the Tasmanian Climate Change Office, the Business Resource Efficiency Program is a key action of Climate Action 21: Tasmania’s Climate Change Action Plan 2017-2021.
The Tasmanian Climate Change Office is supporting small to medium-sized business owners to make informed decisions to improve their resource efficiency, reduce waste and operating costs and drive productivity gains.
This seminar series is part of a broader program including waste audits, tailored resource efficiency improvement strategies, action learning workshops, and one-on-one mentorship available for eligible SMEs.
