BALT nominated for Innovative Service Award – voting now open!

Business Action Learning Tasmania (BALT) is pleased to announce its successful nomination in the BOFA Innovative Tasmania Awards. Following on from a successful awards programme in 2015, the Innovative Tasmania Awards have been expanded to 11 categories, including Innovative Start-up; Innovative Product; Innovative Science and Technology; Innovative Service; Innovative Process; Innovative Community; Innovative Region; Innovative Environment; Innovative Government; Innovation Leader of the Year; and Young Innovator of the Year.

BALT has been nominated for the Innovative Service Award and your vote will help to raise awareness about this unique and innovative training program, which is helping Tasmanian companies get competitive in the global market.

All 66 entries are online and voting for the Innovative Tasmania Awards is now live at https://www.bofa.com.au/innovation-awards/ as is the booking for the Awards presentations in Hobart on 27 October, where Michael Malone, founder of iiNet and serial innovator, will be key note speaker – see https://www.eventbrite.com.au/e/2016-innovative-tasmania-awards-tickets-27210982782.

Here’s how:

There are 11 categories, each numbered on the website. Voters can vote in one category, many or all. It’s free and easy. Simply click on the tab that matches the specific award (NOTE: Tab 04 takes you to the Innovative Service Award, where BALT is listed as the first nominee) read the 120 word description and click on READ MORE if  more details are wanted .

Once voters have read all the innovations in that category they just vote for the BEST in that category by using the survey at the bottom.

Voters  can vote in one session or come back when time allows. But they can only cast one vote per category. All entries will be reviewed and multiple entries from one person will be disqualified.

Voting closes September 30. Winners are announced on 27 October at the Wrest Point presentations (6 – 8.30pm). Each winner gets a 2 minute video vignette of their innovation.

Thanks for your support!
